Abstract

I like the comments by Dr Herbert Copelan. My recommendation regarding a renewal of the supply of nitroglycerin every six months was an approximation of what is ideal; as he indicates, this might be too late if the drug is low in potency when purchased. As to the headache, again I agree that the response is variable, but it is useful. Sublingual burning is not always noted by patients.
