To the Editor: In their review of administrative records, Dr Shah and colleagues noted that for patients undergoing coronary revascularization, subsequent stress imaging tests were ordered more frequently by physicians who billed for the stress test fees compared with those who did not. The investigators suggested that broader application of appropriate utilization criteria (AUC) is needed to minimize the influence of financial incentives.1
