Pharmaceutical Innovation: Incentives, Competition,
and Cost-Benefit Analysis in International Perspective is divided into 4 major sections to describe for the reader the industrial, research,
economic, and health outcomes factors that affect innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. The editors' stated purpose of the book,
“to investigate public policy issues in pharmaceutical innovation,”
doesn't fully mesh with the title of the text and must be kept in mind as the reader progresses through the chapters.
