Therapeutic Triptych

JAMA. 2009;301(10):1002. doi:10.1001/jama.2009.209

Willow
boughs caress water,
long little roots delve dark soil,
bark quenches fever.
Foxglove
purple bells jingle
on lilting summer currents,
tired hearts beat on.
Belladonna
berries, black, small, sweet
nestle in green star saucers,
dark eyes dilate.
