Mont Tremblant, Quebec—The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Foundation launched its first major activity by convening a conference here this summer that assembled 100 invited participants representing a broad range of health care experts. The invitees included physicians, medical scientists, health care policy analysts, lawyers, economists, political scientists, representatives of federal health-related agencies, and leaders of consumer organizations.
