To the Editor: The authors of the WHI1 study state that there were no significant interactions for cardiovascular events with age, but did not report event rates stratified by age. Despite event rates having been too low to enable sufficient power to analyze outcomes by decade, this information is critical for the development of clinical practice guidelines.
