To the Editor: In their randomized controlled trial of treatment for Achilles tendinopathy, Dr de Vos and colleagues1 compared PRP injections to saline control injections. Improvements on primary and secondary outcomes were similar in both groups and the trial was reported as negative. Of note, participants in both groups improved in excess of the reported clinically relevant difference; most of them returned to sport activities and were satisfied with therapy.
