Diabetic Retinopathy is a common and complex illness. Gloria Wu wrote this book “for the ophthalmology residents-in-training, the general ophthalmologist or optometrist, the family practitioner, the diabetologist, and the general internist; to try to answer their questions about diabetic retinopathy.” She has done a great job. The writing is exceptionally engaging and almost feels like the author is giving her explanation in person. The style is consistent, which would be expected in a single-author book.
