Murder Is No Accident captures the personal sagas and dedication of two public health gurus, Drs Prothrow-Stith and Spivak, who, back in the early 1980s, took on the issue of youth violence. This entertaining, easy-to-read book contains personal stories from real people that bring the messages of violence prevention home. The stories do an exemplary job of illustrating how the first wave of an epidemic strikes the most vulnerable with subsequent waves affecting the less and less susceptible. Thus, no one is truly safe.
