Ethics and Research With Children: A Case-Based Approach offers an excellent opportunity for educators. The book is well written
and engages the reader throughout. The chapters give comprehensive coverage
to the major aspects of pediatric research ethics. With the policy of the
National Institutes of Health that all government-supported research must
include children unless there are ethical or scientific reasons not to do
so,1 the topic of appropriate use of minors
in scientific inquiry has come to the forefront of research ethics.
