Book and Media Reviews Section Editor: John L. Zeller, MD, PhD, Fishbein Fellow.
Former students and associates of the late M. M. Wintrobe have contributed their various and substantial skills to produce this excellent atlas on both paper and DVD for easy reference in clinical hematology. Clear representation of the most significant microscopic morphology, as well as of the human carriers of most of the encountered pathology of the hematopoetic system of humans, are explicitly revealed. The diagrams and tables round out the presentation, although it cannot supplant the standard edition of the Wintrobe textbook, which already has gone through 11 editions.
