Nutrition and Wound Healing is a book that health care professionals will find of interest. As stated by the editor, “healing begins the instant the wound is made,” and “healing is a high priority of the body.” As the reference text unfolds, the editor clearly emphasizes the close association of proper nutrition and its effect on wound healing.

Molnar is an associate professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His research interests and clinical practice relate to both nutrition and wound healing, and he has published numerous works that have dealt with the topic. The book also contains chapters written by several esteemed authors, including the late Charles B. Baxter. The book is appropriately written in memory of Dr Baxter.
