For the past 50 years, this reference has served as the bible for urologists. Since Meredith Campbell's first edition in 1954, it has evolved alongside the progressing field of urology. The ninth edition marks a significant point in the continuing evolution of Campbell’s, with Alan Wein filling the position of editor-in-chief vacated by Patrick Walsh. In a tribute to his tireless efforts over the past 20 years and 4 separate editions, the new editorial staff amended the title to Campbell-Walsh Urology. With 24 completely new chapters and substantial revisions to others, the changes to this 4-volume set are similarly significant. In a bold move to modernize, the editors have created a completely searchable online version packed with added features.
