This book gives the student directions for conducting laboratory experiments. It illustrates demonstrations on animals, such as the frog, showing the effects of electricity and medicines. One chapter is devoted to the examination of the blood, with illustrations of different apparatus for recording the blood-pressure. Another chapter gives experiments showing the effects of the internal secretions on the body. The theories of immunity are discussed, and hemolytic experiments are outlined. The book can be recommended to the laboratory student.
