Abstract

The last five typical cases of pellagra in my practice have been treated with Bulgarian lactic acid bacilli in tablet form, each about 7½ grains. Two tablets were given half an hour before each meal and at bedtime.

The improvement in the appearance and subjective symptoms of these patients warrants this preliminary report.
