Physician Put on Probation.  —Dr. Daniel E. Mason, Oakland, was placed on probation for one year by the state board of medical examiners, for operating a cancer cure sanatorium in conjunction with an unlicensed person, recently.

Dr. Case's Petition Denied.  —The state board of medical examiners, October 19, denied the petition of Dr. Elias P. Case, physician of Corning, to set aside its recent action in suspending his license for one year. Dr. Case's license was suspended after he had been convicted on a charge of obtaining money under false pretenses.

Hospital News.  —A psychopathic ward will be erected at the Fresno County Hospital, Fresno, immediately, it is announced. It will be completed next year at a cost
