The International Confederation Against Venereal Disease
This confederation, which has just been founded under the chairmanship of Professor Bayet of Brussels and which has its headquarters at Paris, 7, rue Quentin-Bauchart, is the outgrowth of an agreement entered into between the Ligue des sociétés de la Croix-Rouge and the various national societies formed to combat venereal disease. Its purpose is: 1. To serve as a clearing house for all information concerning the world-wide campaign against venereal disease; to institute scientific and social inquiries on the incidence, prophylaxis and treatment of venereal disease in the different countries, and to publish an international bulletin of information. 2. To serve as a connecting link and a means of coordination between the various national societies that are combating venereal disease, national organizations such as the Red Cross, government organizations, etc., with a view to establishing uniform methods in the campaign against the venereal menace,
