State Journal Raises Price.  —The council of the California Medical Association adopted the recommendation of the editor of California and Western Medicine, that the subscription price be increased to $5 a year and 50 cents for a single copy, beginning with the March number.

The Bunnell Memorial.  —A plaque cast in bronze, commemorating the naming of Yosemite Valley by Dr. Bunnell in 1851, who, as a member of the Mariposa battalion, was among the first white men to enter the valley, will be dedicated by the California Medical Association at its annual meeting, May 19. The memorial will be mounted on a rock at the foot of El Capitan, across the river from where the Mariposa battalion made
