The Institute of Hygiene
The state institute of hygiene in Prague is being built under a contract between the Czechoslovak government and the International Health Board of the Rockefeller Foundation which was signed in the year 1922. The first part of the institute is nearly complete, and the buildings will be occupied during the summer, so that the official opening of the institute will probably take place next September. Four of the proposed nine divisions will be housed in these buildings. The first division for the production of serums and vaccines will use a farm outside the limits of Prague in Bohumile. This division has been working for two years in its provisional location, so that it will be possible to place products on the market early next year.
