To the Editor:
—An item in the New York news (The Journal, August 11, p. 484) states that triplets have been born twice in 100 years at the New York Nursery and Child's Hospital. At the Mary Johnston Hospital, Manila, triplets have occurred twice in less than seventeen years, in 7,243 maternity cases. The births, which were of Filipinos, took place in April, 1919, and July, 1923.
