This is not a comprehensive treatise, but is a timely presentation of some of the problems of syphilis. Chief attention is given to some of the aspects of cerebrospinal syphilis and its behavior under modern methods of study. Other topics are the pathology of syphilis, nonspecific factors in the control of syphilis, and certain phases of specific therapy.
