Rosario Medical School
The new building of the Rosario Odontological School was opened, October 18. It is undoubtedly the best equipped of its kind in this country. On the same date diplomas were delivered to the first graduates from the medical school. A fund of 70,000 pesos (about $25,000) was granted to the school for the purchase of radium to be devoted to the treatment of indigent patients.
Three congresses will be held here simultaneously in 1926. One of them, the third National Medical Congress, will be presided over by Prof. C. Bonorino Udaondo. The chief subject for discussion will be malaria. A number of prominent foreign guests will attend. The fourth South American Conference on Hygiene, Microbiology and Pathology will be presided over by Prof. E. Áraoz Alfaro, president of the national department of public health.
