To the Editor:
—A simple, yet effective, time and labor saving means of applying paraffin to extensive burns is afforded by attaching the usual hot water jacketed sp[ill]ayer to a gas oxygen machine or a compressed air tap. A square foot of surface can be adequately covered in two or three minutes. This method far surpasses the use of a camel's hair brush in the evenness as well as the speed of application.
