—In The Journal, May 1, Welker, Thomas and Hektoen (p. 1333) state that "crystalline proteins have been isolated from the urine up to the present time in only eight cases." Dr. D. Wright Wilson (J. Biol. Chem.56:203 [May] 1923) described a spontaneously crystallizable protein of a Bence-Jones nature. Other references of interest in this connection are: J. Biol. Chem.18:277, 1914, and J. Physiol.42:199, 1911.
