ABSTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES, HELD IN CHICAGO, SEPT. 9 AND 10, 1926
The Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association met in Chicago, September 9 and 10. All members of the Board were present, including the President, President-Elect and the Speaker of the House of Delegates.
Dr. W. McKim Marriott of St. Louis was elected to succeed Dr. John Howland (deceased), and Dr. Treat B. Johnson of New Haven, Conn., was elected to succeed Dr. Francis W. Peabody (resigned) on the Council on Pharmacy and Chemistry.

In accordance with the terms of a resolution adopted by the House of Delegates at the Dallas Session, providing for the appointment of a committee on nurses and nurse education, the following committee was appointed: Drs.
