—In the paper by Dr. J. C. Masson, on this subject (The Journal, November 6, p. 1530), the sentence beginning on the twentieth line of page 1531 should read: "During the last five years sixteen cases (instead of ten cases) of carcinoma of the cervix have been observed at the Mayo Clinic, from three to fifteen years after subtotal abdominal hysterectomy for benign lesions, and thirteen cases (instead of nineteen) in which it was not possible to determine whether or not malignancy had existed prior to the early operation."
