The Ethical Council of Physicians  In previous letters the project of establishing a federal ethical council of physicians was announced. The draft of the proposed legislation has been handed to the federal minister of the interior by Dr. Wagner, the federal director of the medical profession of Germany. The federal chamber of physicians, to be created on the basis of the federal ethical council of physicians, will be the only organization in which the German physicians will be associated for the fulfilment of their professional obligations. The result of this legislation will be that the previously existing independent professional leagues will be forced to disband. Within the federal chamber of physicians, some groups of physicians who have to perform certain tasks in public health administration, more particularly the panel physicians, will be brought together in more intimate association.
