The chapter on hypothyroidism of the adult is by Dr. Hans Curschmann; in the appendix to this chapter is a brief discussion on chagas and adipositas dolorosa. The third chapter, on hypothyroidism in childhood, is by Dr. Emil Wieland, and the final chapter, on athyreodosis in childhood, is by Dr. F. Siegert.
