Retirement of Geheimrat Kraus  March 31, a large gathering of pupils and friends of Geheimrat Kraus assembled in the auditorium of the II. Medizinische Universitätsklinik to pay him their respects, in view of his retirement from active service. The ministry of public instruction has established for him in an institute of the Kaiser Wilhelm-Gesellschaft a laboratory in which he will have an opportunity of continuing his researches. At the close of the evening, the bust of Kraus, from the chisel of Lederer, funds for which were supplied by his pupils, was unveiled before the entrance of the clinic, opposite the bust of Traube.
