This popular lecture has been put into book form by the executives of the lecture endowment. It has to do with the relation of mental mechanism to disease processes. It is an extraordinarily elementary consideration which hardly is suitable for physicians but which may well be referred to by medical students as an introduction to abnormal psychology encountered in medical practice.
