Mr. Barry C. Smith, Commonwealth Fund, New York: I suppose I have shown temerity to induce the Commonwealth Fund to enter the health field. Probably our lack of expert knowledge in the field was what led us to consult the expert and the physician. In our health demonstration program we have first a national board or committee, to which is delegated the specific directions. On that board we have five physicians, three of whom have had wide experience in public health.
