Abstract

Physicians in their hours of ease are likely to be as varied in their choice of hobbies and interests as are any other group. Dr. Thompson is apparently a man of many interests, since he has written on many subjects. His present volume is the study of a dog. It will appeal equally to the boy or to the adult who has an interest in canine intelligence. It exemplifies canine psychology. Every one will love the King of Mapledale, a thoroughbred Irish setter.
