To the Editor A Viewpoint by Drs Joyner and Paneth1 presented 7 questions that challenge the benefits of personalized medicine. The authors discounted the inevitability of progress in the field of genomics, particularly through the algorithmic analysis of multiple data sources. Importantly, their conclusion is based on the premise that personalized medicine is genomic medicine.
