Prepared by the Subcommittee on Venereal Diseases of the Committee on Chemotherapeutic and Other AgentsAn outline of the use of chemotherapeutic agents in the treatment of infectious diseases and other infections as recommended by the Committee on Chemotherapeutic and Other Agents and its Subcommittee on Infectious Diseases of the Division of Medical Sciences, National Research Council, was published in Circular Letter No. 81, dated Dec. 5, 1940.The following outline on the diagnosis and treatment of the venereal diseases records briefly the opinions and recommendations of that committee and its subcommittee on venereal diseases. The data on which this circular letter is based have been prepared by the Subcommittee on Venereal Diseases and approved by the Committee on Chemotherapeutic and Other Agents.
