While this book, written somewhat with quiz-compend brevity of style, might meet the needs of the student of pharmacy, one can hardly agree with the author that "the student or practitioner of medicine will find in it all that is of essential value." He who must use medicines daily as his tools for the relief of suffering should be more deeply grounded than he would be after perusal of this textbook, though it may suffice for purposes of preexamination review.
