In this volume is collected a series of lectures presented in the Institute for Hygiene. There seems to have been a request for their preservation in permanent form. To this series ten British medical authorities contributed separate essays concerning the more common problems affecting the young. The points of view are safe, but the presentation is such as will appeal to a distinctly erudite reader rather than to the person of newspaper intelligence, the group most in need of the type of education offered.
