In the review of this book, published in The Journal, it was stated that the editors of Buchanan's Anatomy were surgeons in the London Hospital. A note from the publisher indicates that only one of them holds such a position, and that all the others are surgical anatomists. All four are professors of anatomy at different medical schools attached to the London University.
