This small textbook represents to a large extent the individual opinion of the author gained over many years of teaching experience. While one may differ with him on points of minor detail, the book in the main impresses one with its sound judgment and conservative tone. One might wish that, in these smaller works, authors would use a profusion of illustrations in order to overcome the small amount of printed space.
