Study Suggests Alzheimer and Parkinson Disease Are Not Transmitted Through Blood Transfusion

Good news is hard to come by in the field of neurodegenerative disorders, but an exacting search through one of the world’s largest medical databases strongly suggests a sigh of relief is in order. If illnesses such as Alzheimer disease (AD) and Parkinson disease (PD) are communicable, as recent research implies, it won’t be via blood transfusion.
