To the Editor The Editorial by Drs Flaherman and Von Kohorn accompanying the US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendation on primary care interventions to support breastfeeding asserted that systemic interventions such as the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) “should be reconsidered until good-quality evidence emerges that these interventions are safe and effective.”1
