New federal regulations requiring home health agencies to be more responsive to patients and their families were recently finalized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
The rules, if approved by the Trump administration, would go into effect in July and cover more than 5 million Medicare & Medicaid beneficiaries who receive health care in their homes from nearly 12 600 participating home health agencies nationwide.
