Neurologic conditions in myxedematous individuals are discussed: optic neuritis, facial paralyses and hemiplegias. Extensive electrocardiographic studies in hypothyroid patients with cardiac involvement are presented. Other clinical observations, including meningitis of typhoid origin and Friedreich's disease in association with epidemic encephalitis, are described. The book is an excellent collection of clinical material, presented interestingly and including many references to the literature. It should be of assistance to the practitioner.
