The FDA’s new Youth Tobacco Prevention Plan has taken aim at companies that design and market their electronic nicotine delivery systems to appeal to children and teens.
In its first salvo, the agency launched a weeks-long national undercover blitz in April to crack down on e-cigarette sales to minors at both brick-and-mortar and online outlets. The specific focus was products from San Francisco–based JUUL Laboratories Inc.
