To the Editor In a retrospective study using Ontario databases, the authors concluded that the composite primary outcome of all-cause death, readmission, or major postoperative complications within 30 days of index surgery was increased among patients with complete handovers of intraoperative anesthesia care.1 This result should be interpreted with caution.
