Disturbances of consciousness are found in a great variety of conditions, including functional and organic disturbances of the brain and many general conditions. These are all separately, thoroughly and accurately described with excellent differential diagnostic leads. The bibliography is excellent and the index adequate. This is a convenient monograph for quick reference concerning the most difficult of all states to analyze-unconsciousness.
