REORGANIZE AIR SURGEON'S OFFICE
The War Department recently announced the partial reorganization of the Air Surgeon's office and reassignment of key officers of the Medical Service, Army Air Force. Brig. Gen. Charles R. Glenn, surgeon of the Army Air Force Training Command, was assigned deputy air surgeon on the staff of Major Gen. David N. W. Grant, the Air Surgeon, effective August 15. He succeeded Col. Walter S. Jensen, who has been assigned to an important post overseas. Other new assignments include those of Col. Henry C. Chenault, executive officer, who has been named director of professional services, Col. Oliver K. Niess, base surgeon and commanding officer of the Regional State Hospital, Mitchel Field, N. Y., who has been named director of administration, and Col. Richard L. Meiling, who will act as special assistant to the Air Surgeon.The reorganization places the Director of Administration over the Operations,
