CHANGE 1945 ANNUAL MEETING PLACE
The House of Delegates of the American Medical Association at the annual session held in 1942 selected New York City as the place of meeting for the 1945 annual session. Certain preliminary arrangements were completed, but investigations recently made in New York clearly indicate that the necessary facilities will not be available in that city in 1945 because of conditions created by the war emergency. It is with regret that it is necessary to make the announcement that the annual session scheduled for New York, June 11 to 15, 1945, will have to be held in some other city where adequate facilities will be available. Under the direction of the Board of Trustees necessary investigations are now in progress and definite announcement as to the place of meeting for 1945 will be made through the columns of The Journal at the earliest possible
