Dr. James R. Bloss: It is a happy privilege to welcome you to the headquarters office for your annual conference. I wish to assure the members of the conference of the interest of the Association in the affairs of the constituent state and territorial associations, and also the component county and district societies. These conferences present an opportunity to the representatives of the constituent associations to refresh themselves about the activities of the parent organization, and what its councils and bureaus and departments are accomplishing. At the same time it presents an opportunity to your officials to find out the things which are at the moment interesting
