Board Ordered to Restore License.—
The state board of medical examiners was ordered by the superior court of San Francisco, October 17, to restore the license of Dr. Lillie L. Koerber, San Francisco, which had been revoked in 1943 (The Journal, Aug. 21, 1943, p. 1195). In compliance with the order the certificate was restored, but an appeal has been filed.
The Reginald Knight Smith Lecture.—
Dr. Philip Levine, director of the biologic division of the Ortho Research Foundation, Linden, N. J., will deliver the first Reginald Knight Smith Lecture at Mount Zion Hospital, San Francisco, January 11, on "The Rh Factor and Its Clinical Significance." The annual lectureship has been inaugurated by Mount Zion Hospital in memory of the late Dr. Smith, who served as chief of its division of obstetrics from 1909 to 1937.
