State Meeting Canceled.—  The Connecticut State Medical Society announces the cancellation of its meeting which was scheduled to be held in Hartford, May 1-3.

Position Available as Health Consultant.—  Applications are being accepted by the state of Connecticut, Hartford, for examination to fill the position now available as local health consultant. Applications will be accepted until March 31. The applicant must be eligible for a license to practice medicine and surgery in Connecticut and must have not less than five years' employment in public health work including experience as health officer of a municipality, county or district; or similar experience of at least three years' duration and completion of graduate training in public health work or an equivalent of the two. Connecticut residence requirement is waived for the examination. Candidates must be citizens of the United States. The salary range is from $5,100 to $5,700 a year. Additional information
